According to Gallup, only 44% of managers globally have received any management training.
Trained managers perform up to 20–28% better, and their teams are more engaged.
What Research Reveals About the Future of Work and Leadership
Two key reports highlight what organizations must focus on in 2025. The way we work is changing rapidly. To keep up, the way we lead must change, too.
Gallup’s latest global report shows a worrying trend: only 21 percent of employees feel engaged at work. Even more concerning, manager engagement is declining, especially among women and younger leaders. When managers struggle, their teams lose direction, productivity drops, and retention suffers. Gallup recommends that companies invest in stronger support for their managers. This includes setting clear expectations, developing coaching skills, and offering long-term leadership development.
Deloitte’s Human Capital Trends report points to a different but related challenge. Leaders are pushing for more speed, flexibility, and innovation. At the same time, employees are asking for more clarity, stability, and meaning in their work. The pace of change can feel overwhelming. Many leaders feel unprepared to guide their teams in remote settings and AI-driven environments. Deloitte’s conclusion is clear: lasting performance requires a balance between business needs and human needs. Strong leadership today demands emotional intelligence, a supportive culture, and thoughtful design.

During the marketing workshop, he was very prepared but flexed to the needs and energy of the team, whether that was adjusting the agenda or introducing the 'common dysfunctions of teams' framework. In this way, he maximised the time while ensuring the teams' needs were provided for. We really appreciated his help.

I approached Alessandro in a complex conflict situation we had in our department. In this instance, he showed very strong conflict management skills and went above and beyond to "normalize" the situation. He came up with several great workshops to create our norms and ways of working together as a team. He also followed up consistently, both in a group setting and through 1-on-1s, and carefully collected all the inputs.
Overall, very good trainer and a good opportunity to build relationships with other heads of and share our challenges and solutions with each other
